Once again Wivenhoe's King George Playing Field was full of people who had come to enjoy the music of many bands which performed from a central stage formed out of a covered lorry plus many more in the 'acoustic' tent.
The weather was not kind, although it could have rained a lot more and it could have been a lot warmer. The clap of thunder and hailstones did little to dampen the enthusiasm for the event, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year.
Bands on the stage included Fat Cats, New Town Kings, Fuzz Face, and Curly Circus.
There was always shelter in the acoustic tent although that and the beer tent would not have been able to cope with the thousands of people who attended.
Around the field were many stalls and entertainment like a bucking bronco.
